"Jesus said: You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you." (John 15:16)

Tuesday: English Assessment Day!

We have an assessment today. Yes, I know that with the new PBS system we need to assess our children in Form 1 with the new band system.

However, I reasoned with my students that I want them to understand in a system they are more familiar with to encourge them that: yes, I am improving in my English (:

My handsome class monitor told me after the assessment when I asked him whether he can score 100% for the test that he has no confidence in English.

"Sebelom ni dapet 10, 20 markah je."

"But there's improvement now, don't you see?"

"Ah tu, nasib je."

Ah, no. Definitely not of chance and luck that you are improving my dear (: You just wait and see!

"Active Listening Position" has fallen off the wall, AGAIN!

*An Update!*

S who said he only scored terribly poorly before this, he got a 42/100 for this assessment! As a matter of fact, all of my students (except for one) improved and only 7 did not manage to obtain a pasing mark of over 40!

Praise the Lord!
